We are a Real Estate Brokerage whose only duty is to hold the license of inactive agents. We offer a way to earn money on referrals  while having your license "in holding".

You are paying hundreds in board dues, MLS fees, broker fees and who knows what else. Stop the bleed. By putting your license in holding with Michigan Real Estate License Holding Company (MIREHC) you can stop paying all those dues and still collect referral fees. Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires that all inactive real estate salesperson licenses be held by a licensed Michigan real estate holding company. We are that holding company.

Easy - You agree to not actively engage in the practice of real estate or advertise yourself as an active real estate salesperson. You must also agree to continually abide by the laws, statutes and regulations of the State of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). You are also responsible for paying all licensing fees to LARA and renewing your real estate license with LARA every three years, including obtaining the proper continuing education.

Absolutely. You can give a referral to any broker you wish. And keep the majority of your referral fee.

Let's say you have a referral for a $400,000 home. Assuming a 3% commission and a 25% referral fee, your portion of the referral would be $3,000 ($400,000 * .03 * .25).  A typical holding company might keep 25-50% of that amount ($750-$1,500) plus other fees. MIREHC only charges 20% per referral. That's a significant savings for you.

Nope. Just the $99 yearly fee for MIREHC to hold your license, and 20% per closed referral. No long term contracts, transfer your license out at anytime, come back anytime.
